Cylinder Specifications

  • Based on results obtained in our laboratory, a 150 lines per inch (60 line per centimeter) electronically etched application cylinder with a cell depth ranging from 45 to 55 microns is recommended when the mixed adhesive is used at a solid content ranging from 25% to 35%. However, when the mixed adhesive is used at a higher solids content ranging from 45% to 50%, a 180 lines per inch (70 line per centimeter) electronically etched application cylinder with a cell depth ranging from 40 to 50 microns is recommended by our sister concern M/s Etone India Pvt. Ltd. A fully computerized manufacturer of Electrolytic Cylinder from where we can able to supply you cylinder as per the above specification, from which you can use high solid adhesive to get cost reduction.

Dry Coating Weight

  • Dry coating weight may usually range from 2 to 2.5 g/sq.m However, printed films require more coating weight than not printed films.

Curing

  • The laminates may be rewound and slit after 24 hours and completely cured after 2 to 3 days storage at 400C.

Pot Life

  • t is best not to mix more adhesive than will be used during the next 8 hours. It is possible tokeep mixed adhesive for use the net day provided it is diluted to a solid content of 25% to 35% and is stored in a sealed container. The mixed adhesive must not be allowed to become contaminated with either atmospheric oxygen or moisture.Material which has stood overnight is best used after mixing with an equivalent quantity of fresh adhesive. However, if gels or large particle Appear in the old mix then, it should be discarded.

Storage

  • The adhesive and curing agent must not be stored in direct sunlight or near flame or spark sources. In the original unopened, undamaged containers, the adhesive and curing agent have self life of at least six month.

Packaging

  • KP Bond 7080 is available in 200 kgs packing and KP Bond 7066H in 10 kgs. Container.
